Working at Height
Duration: 4 HOUR
This course is for the learners requiring the basic knowledge, skills and abilities to work safely at heights. Objectives: Successful participants will be able to work safely at heights in the workplace with minimal supervision by identifying the requirements of the job, accessing and installing the required equipment, and cleaning up the work area. They will also be able to conduct a risk assessment of the job.
Manual Handling Safety Awareness
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objectives: This course is designed to raise awareness of the hazards associated with manual handling in construction work, office and the practical steps that can be taken to avoid and minimize the risks that it presents.
Chemical Handling Safety Awareness
Duration: 3 HOUR
Objectives: Chemical Safety Training is designed for those who have the potential to be exposed to chemicals in the workplace. Participants should understand the physical and health hazards of chemicals used in the workplace.
Forklift Awareness
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: The purpose of this training is to help you become a qualified forklift operator; one who has the skills and knowledge to operate a lift truck in a safe and proper manner. The content in this course is designed to comply with the intent of the applicable regulatory requirements. Learner objectives are to recognize general engineering and capacity principles associated with forklift safety
Confined Space Entry Training
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge of the hazards for working in confined spaces, safe use of tools and equipment, control of hazards and developing an emergency procedure.
Scaffolding Erection & Dismantling
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: This course is designed to provide participants with information relating to scaffolding systems that are presently being used in the construction industry. This course has been developed for industry as an awareness-level course, with no hands-on (end-user) component.
Flagman Training
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: This training course will equip flag persons to perform their duties safely and professionally. The primary objective of the program is to train flaggers to provide safe passage of traffic through and around work areas and to minimize confusion by bringing standard flagging procedures to our nation’s highways.
Slinging, Rigging and Banksman
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: This course covers topics such as safe slinging and rigging working procedures, slinging and rigging principles, nylon chain slings and belt slings, constructing wire rope slings, crane operator and signal man and many other topics.
Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: Learners will understand how to identify hazards and assess risks for your business operations. They will State the definition of a hazard and explain how to identify hazards in the workplace, determine methods for controlling hazards in the workplace
Welding Safety Awareness
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objective: This course is to provide maintenance and facilities staff members with a basic understanding of the safety requirements for welding, cutting, and brazing, as well as policies that help ensure safety for both you and others.
International Award in Principles of Health and Safety
Duration: 4 HOUR
Objectives: This qualification has been developed to be suitable for those working in any type of environment as well as those about to start work for the first time. The qualification takes into account recognized best-practice principles of health and safety and allows learners to identify hazards and risks involved in the workplace, know the benefits of maintaining a tidy and well organized setting and state the importance of personal hygiene.
